It’s with heavy hearts we have to inform you of the passing of Bob Armstrong, aged 74 years. Bob was a driving force behind the re-forming of the Bulls Club in October 1980. He was the inaugural president, with fellow committee members Jim Geaney, Peter Hulthen, Warren Inch and patron Dr Jock Allingham.
Bob spent many years as the captain and coach of the Bulls side and delighted in the growth of the game and the Club’s spirit and comradery over the many years to follow.
He was also an active member of the Knackered Bulls Golden Oldies side. In fact, he was the first Australian to ever play in a Golden Oldies World Cup competition. Bob leaves a big legacy in the Bulls family and will be sorely missed.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Bob at the White Lady Chapel, 270 Kelvin Grove Road, Kelvin Grove at 10:30am on Friday 14th February 2020.
